Primary seven candidates will sit for their Primary Leaving Examinations on November 3rd and 4th, 2025. The Uganda Police Force is responsible for securing the examination process. We urge everyone to ensure that the PLE candidates complete their two-day exam schedule without disruptions.
As we are currently in an election period, with presidential campaigns attracting large crowds and loud music, candidates are advised to avoid holding campaign events near primary schools to prevent disturbances.
We call on all individuals to refrain from any actions that may violate the law or compromise the integrity of the examination process. Currently, police in Lira have detained three suspects for attempting to bribe a UNEB Scout to influence the upcoming PLE.
The suspects; Odongo George, Ekut Simon (32), and Awoko Lavoiser (26) are accused of offering Ayoo Christine, a UNEB Scout based in Oyam District, a bribe within the range of One Million Uganda Shillings (UGX 1,000,000)
Following a tip-off, police arrested the suspects at Garden Hotel in Lira City and recovered relevant evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
