A 12-man team from the Uganda Police Force has safely arrived in Rwanda to take part in a joint tactical training aimed at enhancing operational capabilities and regional security cooperation.
The team, led by SSP Tobias Ahumuza, the Commandant Tactical, will participate in a three-week training program at the Mayange Counter-Terrorism Training Center in Bugesera District, Eastern Province, Rwanda.
The exercise brings together six EAPCCO member countries alongside Liberia and the Central African Republic. Training sessions will focus on tactical drills, assault tactics, tactical obstacle crossing, shooting skills, teamwork, and physical endurance.
The exercise is intended to strengthen operational readiness and enhance regional cooperation in combating terrorism and organized crime through practical and real-world scenarios.
