Police Disciplinary Court has ruled that the five Officers who acted unethically towards a former employee of Mukwano Ltd, Mr. Kasim Ssuuna have a case to answer.
The court ruled that the prosecution proved that the five officers committed the offence and the evidenced produced in court including the video footage pinned them.

Court adjourned the hearing until Tuesday 12/11/2013 at 10:00am, when the five will begin their defence. Court sits at Police Forensic Laboratory, Kampala, Naguru.
The five officers are ASP Abanansi Okumu who commanded the operation, Sgt. Simon Peter Oswama, PC Arafati Lwanga and other two constables.
Prosecution avers that the five tortured, Mr. Kasim Ssuuna, when he had gone to the head office of Mukwano Group of Companies Ltd and asked to see the boss over compensation for losing his two fingers when a machine chopped them off – five years ago.
However, Suuna was denied entry at the gate and instead the policemen were called to reign in on him.
According to prosecution, Suuna was punched and stomped in his private parts, head and chest before he was bundled on a police pick up.
The five are accused of discreditable or irregular conduct and scandalous manner code 12 and 14 of the Police Act.
If the five are convicted the sentence is either a reduction in rank or dismissal.
The chairman of the court ACP Moses Ongom advised the accused to come prepared on Tuesday to defend themselves.
