Rally champion Ponsiano Rwakataka who last month was suspected to have escorted his trucks loaded with immature fish has been remanded.
Mr. Rwakataka was yesterday arrested in Kampala and transferred to Kasese district for purposes of investigations.

Two case files submitted to the state Attorney were both sanctioned and today, Mr. Rwakataka appeared in the Kasese court to take plea on charges of assault and trading in immature fish, which are both criminal offences.
On both charges, Mr. Rwakataka has been remanded. On assault, he has been remanded to 18th July 2014 while on charges of trading in immature fish, he has been remanded to 28th July 2014.
More details will be posted as of and when they are available.
