Uganda Police top managers underwent a one-day training workshop at the Police Headquarters in Naguru. The workshop that aimed at focusing on performance improvement, mindset change and contract management took place on Monday, 17th July 2023
The capacity building program was organized by the Office of the Under Secretary Uganda Police.
The participants included; Directors, Deputy Directors, Staff Officers, Contract Managers, Logistics and Engineering Teams, as well as Finance Staff from the entire Police Force.
The primary objective is to enhance performance levels, facilitate a positive mindset shift, and provide valuable insights into effective contract management, empowering police staff to excel in the execution of their duties.
The participants engaged in a range of interactive sessions, discussions, and practical exercises designed to foster personal growth and professional development.
Key facilitators like Dr. Wasswa Balunywa, Dr Paul Kasenene, Dr. Sajjaka Samuel, Mr. Paul Kulumba and Mr. Ethon Musilini delved into the core principles of performance improvement, offering effective strategies and techniques to maximize productivity, efficiency and nurturing a mindset conducive to success.
The training is expected to help participants focus on the power of mindset and its impact on performance, to inspire and embrace continuous improvement in their roles within the police force.
