A bus belonging to link bus company, registration number UAK 881C coming from Bwera heading to Kampala failed to negotiate a corner at Kikorongo Bwera/ Mbarara- Kasese junction and it overturned, injuring 27 passengers.
The incident happened at around 09 am when the bus failed to break, lost control and it over turned.
The bus that had about 64 passengers was being driven by one Magezi who is currently on the run.
The injured were taken to Kilembe and Kagando hospitals.
The bus has been removed from the scene and its now parked at Kasese police station pending IOV Inspection. inquiries are on going.
However, no death was registered as it is being circulated on social media platforms.
