ALL SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES TO REPORT TO DESIGNATED QUARANTINE CENTERS

This is to kindly inform all applicants in the recently concluded recruitment exercises for probation Police Constables that the list of successful candidates is out and displayed at the respective Districts and Regional Police Headquarters.  All applicants are requested to check their names at the respective Districts/Divisional Police Headquarters to confirm whether they are successful or not.

All successful candidates are required to report to the respective quarantine centers, where they will spend two weeks under quarantine, before reporting to Police Training School – Kabalye, for the commencement of the Initial Police Recruit Training Course.

At the quarantine centers they will be thoroughly screened for Covid-19 symptoms and taken through Covid-19 awareness and safety precautions.

The successful candidates are to report to the quarantine centers in two phases as follow;

Those under phase (I) will report on the 30th, November,2020, at the following quarantine centers.

4 PTS Ikafe Yumbe
5 Gleson Training Institution Kitgum

 

While those under phase (II), will report on the 8th December 2020 at the following quarantine centers.

1 Light of Hope S.S. Luwero
2 Mbarara Army School Mbarara
3 Kasese Tour Hostel Kasese
4 Kitara S.S Hoima
5 Nsamizi Training Institute of Social Development Mpigi

 

They should report to these centers and MUST carry with them; the following items, Original Academic documents “O” level, Original National Identity Card, Black gum boots, a Pair of sports shoes, a pair of sportswear, a 3 inch mattress, blanket, Bed sheets, Jerry can and Basin, and other personal effects.

We would like to remind all candidates, that after the two weeks quarantine, they will be transferred to the PTS Kabalye, where they will start their journey of becoming new Police Officers, with a 12 Months Course.

Once again we would like to congratulate all the candidates, and wish them a very successful journey into the police that demands a high level of personal integrity and responsibility.

The training areas and facilities have been inspected and fit for the two weeks quarantine process.
