Officials form CNOOC Uganda have today, Wednesday 19th October 2022 paid a courtesy visit to Uganda Police headquarters in Naguru to discuss modalities on how to create good working relations with the force.
The team was recived by Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Abas Byakagaba, Director Counter Terrorism together with other officers from the Oil and Gas sector.
The Director appreciated the good working relations between the two parties so far and promised full support from the institution as the organisation conduct their operations in the community.
The CNOOC Uganda team was led by Zakaria Lubega, Head of Corporate Affairs and the Government Relations Manager Joffrey Kyeyune.
Mr Lubega appreciated the bilateral cooporation with the force especially in securing their sites especially in the Albertine region.
CNOOC Uganda is an upstream company engaged in oil and gas exploration and production in Uganda, they are the operator of Kingfisher Development Area.
