KISORO
Two out of the three people who drowned in Late Butanda have died. The other was able to swim his way out of the lake.
Pafura Musuhuke, 57, a resident of Mwaro Village in Karambi Sub County and Janet Ntakirutimana, 18, a resident of Kigoma Village, Gisorora parish in Nyakabande Sub County died after a boat they were traveling in capsized.
According to Kigezi region Police Spokesman Elly Maate , the incident happened on 01/09/18 at around 19:00 hours at Kaboko landing site.
The bodies have been retrieved and taken to Kisoro hospital mortuary for postmortem as more inquiries continue vide KISORO SD 46/01/09/2018.
