On September 4, 2025, Deputy Director CPC Hillary Kulayige held an interactive session with police leadership and Political Commissars from Kyoga East and South, emphasizing the vital role they play in shaping a patriotic, citizen-focused police force.
He stressed that through political education and community engagement, Political Commissars help build a police service that is trusted, ethical, and closely connected to the communities it serves.
Kulayige urged Political Commissars to guide officers on UPF values, engage with communities and leaders, conduct Barazas, and mobilize officers and their families in income-generating activities to strengthen professionalism, ethics, and public trust.
