On June 30th June, 2023, Police Liaison Officers from various directorates participated in a highly beneficial Effective Communication Training Workshop, focusing on Institutional reporting and development of results based communication plans.
The workshop, organized by the Public Relations Office, aimed to equip liaison officers with essential communication strategies to enhance coordination, streamline processes, and improve overall communication within the force. The training brought together representatives from Directorates/Departments of the Uganda Police. Led by ACP Nabakka Claire, Deputy Spokesperson/Public Relations of the Uganda Police Force, the one-day workshop took place at the Police headquarters.
During the training, ACP Nabakka Claire, UPF D/PRO emphasized the officers’ pivotal role in coordinating directorates’ special events in collaboration with the PRO Office. Additionally, the officers were tasked with promoting their respective directorates through effective branding and monitoring media engagement.
By empowering liaison officers with valuable communication skills, the workshop aimed to ensure efficient and seamless communication channels within the force, ultimately enhancing its overall performance and effectiveness.
