Police Disciplinary Court has found the five Officers who acted unethically towards a former employee of Mukwano Ltd, Mr. Kasim Ssuuna, guilty.
Court in its ruling argued that the prosecution proved that the five officers committed the offence and the evidenced produced in court including the video footage pinned them.

Court sentenced four of the officers to dismissal while one to reduction in rank.
Those that were sentenced to dismissal are ASP Asobasi Daniel Okumu – the commander of the group, No.34277 Cpl. Odong Geofrey, No. 58974 PPC Muwonge Patrick and No.6004 PPC Lwanga Alafa.
No. 215552 Sgt. Oswama Simon Peter was sentenced to a reduction in rank from Sergeant to Corporal.
The court was chaired by ACP Moses Ongom, assisted by ACP David Balidawa and ACP Francis Tumushabe. Court prosecutor was ACP Samuel Ekellot.
The chairman informed them of their right to appeal to a higher court, if they are not satisfied with the lower court. They have 14 days to appeal the sentence.
