This morning, Inspector General of Police Abas Byakagaba met officers of the Entebbe Police Division, inspecting their infrastructure, including the barracks.
He addressed proper resource utilisation, accountability, command and control, and prioritising welfare.
He urged good relations with the community and other government agencies, mentioning personnel health, community policing, and the sub-county policing model.
Corruption was condemned, and officers were urged to refrain from engaging in such activities.
He also interfaced with spouses of police officers.
In attendance were AIGP Dr. Moses Byaruhanga, AIGP Dr. Hadija Namutebi, AIGP Ubaldo Bamunoba, the commander of the KMP and the chief of joint security operation Entebbe airport among other senior police officers.
