Police at Kajansi are actively investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a one year old baby by alleged poisoning that ocurred during the night of 10.04.2026 in Katwe cell Nakawuka parish Kajjansi town council Wakiso district.
The deceased has been identified as Balisala promise 1year old female .
It’s alleged that for the last two days the complainant had been leaving her child with the suspect who is her nephew to go for night duty .
The suspect confess that the kid always disturbs him at night and the first time he administered over dose medicine for the baby to sleep but they didn’t work but instead the child ended up dying instead.
A case of murder by poisoning has been opened up while investigations continue.
