The Police at Kampala Metropolitan Headquarters, under the leadership of Deputy Commander Kampala Metropolitan Police Commisioner of Police Nkore Paul, was honored to welcome Mr. Santosh Gumte, the Managing Director of Kansai Plascon Uganda Limited, to Central Police Station (CPS) Kampala on 13th October 2023.

This visit marked a significant gesture of goodwill, as Mr. Santosh Gumte presented a generous donation of Plascon paint to support the renovation of CPS Kampala and the adjacent barracks.

Mr. Santosh Gumte expressed his sincere delight in partnering with the Police on vital social responsibility initiatives, such as the renovation of these important facilities. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing societal issues, and his commitment to contributing to positive social transformation.

Deputy Commander Kampala Metropolitan Police, Commissioner of Police Nkore Paul, also spoke during the occasion. He extended his gratitude to Mr. Santosh Gumte and his team for their generous donation of Plascon paint. Commissioner Nkore Paul highlighted the impact this gesture would have on improving the appearance and functionality of the facilities, underlining the significance of community collaboration.

Commissioner Nkore Paul stated, “It is prudent to have such members of the community who actively engage in identifying and addressing societal problems. We are thankful for this partnership and look forward to a continuous collaboration in our shared mission of social transformation.”

The donated Plascon paint will not only enhance the aesthetics of CPS Kampala but also contribute to the welfare of the personnel stationed in the barracks, making their living and working environments more comfortable and conducive.
