Police in Bushenyi arrests prime suspect in the murder of a businessman.

The police in Greater Gushenyi have arrested one Alvin Jokada a prime suspect who kidnapped and murdered the prominent businessman Rwamutwe Hedex on 4th May 2017.
Addressing the press today on 15 May 2017 at the Police Headquarters, the police spokesman AIGP Asan Kasingye confirmed the success by the police that the suspect was tracked from the telephone exchange he had made with the deceased. He was interrogated and accepted the offence and soon will appear in the courts of law.
AIGP kasingye said that the deceased was kidnapped from Bushenyi and first drove him to Rwentuha town where he later took him to kabelebele in Mbarara where he hit him an iron baron the head, later to Ibanda where he was found dead. After it’s alleged that the deceased failed to pay a ransom of one hundred thousand that was demanded from him.
Kasingye has appealed to the public not to succumb to ransom from kidnappers, but instead inform the security organs for assistance.
