Nagalama Police Station has successfully managed to intercept two suspected robbers who attacked Namagulu farm in Namengo Village, Kyampisi sub-county in Mukono district last night.
Their arrest followed a tip-off by the farm manager notifying us that unknown people had stormed his farm, tied the guard before making away with a water pump worth 7.6 million shillings.
Luke Owoyesigyire, the KMP Deputy spokesperson said the pair was intercepted this morning.
He noted that the suspects were in possession of a water pump and other equipment they use during robberies.
No gun was however recovered, contrary to earlier information that the suspects were armed with two guns.
The suspects are currently being detained at Nagalama Police Station on charges of aggravated robbery.
