The inspector General of Police has observed that there is need to have an Eastern police training school which will help quick refresher courses that will help police officers improve more on their effectiveness in operation work.
IGP said this yesterday 5th July 20117,during an emergency meeting at Sipi Regional Police head office, with police officers and other stake holders, after one police officer was attacked and killed while at the beat.
No. 50290 PC Olanya Charles 33, was attacked, cut his neck with a pang and died on spot while guarding at Boma playground.
