The police on Tuesday 13.01.2015 visited the media journalist of WBS, who was allegedly assaulted by the former DPC old Kampala (Mwesingye Joram) during an operation targeting violent protesters on Monday 12/01/2015 at Namirembe road.
The police delegation that included the welfare officer, the PRO and Mr Onayango Patrick (KMP PRO) met the victim Andrew Lwanga and his family at the new surgical ward at Nsambya hospital. The victim was still in an unstable condition, though he fully recognized the voice of the PRO Enanga Fred. A modest contribution towards the medical expenses was extended to the family of the victim.
