East Kyoga- the Police in East Kyoga region has recovered an AK47 riffle with 118 rounds of ammunition.
Regional Police Spokesman, Odong Michael has confirmed the incident.
” Following a tip off from operatives in Kampala about robbery of a Motor vehicle registration number UAQ 207L double Cabin Nissan ,the police mounted a road block and AK 47 rifle.no UG -UPDF UE-9505 with 118 rounds of ammunition were recovered after serious chase by the police patrol vehicle, ” Odong said .
The vehicle is currently parked at kabelebyong Sub county head quarters.
The police is on the hunt for the suspect pending investigations.
