POLICE SUSPENDS DPC MWESIGYE JORAM OVER ASSAULT
Today the 13th January 2015 ,the director of operations AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi met a delegation of journalists from various media houses who had marched in protest over the alleged assault of two journalists by the DPC of Old Kampala yesterday 12th January 2015 .
The Director briefed them on behalf of the IGP and strongly condemned the actions of the officer that appeared aggressive .He highly regretted the incident and extended an apology on behalf of the institution to the victims, their families and the media fraternity.
