Uganda Police Force has again emerged champion of the Inter Forces Games 2013, after successfully defending the title their won in the 10th edition in 2012.
The 11th edition of Inter Forces Games commenced on 18 Nov 2013 and concluded on 29 November, 2013. This year, Uganda Prisons Services organized the sports gala.

The 11th edition of Inter Forces Games commenced on 18 Nov 2013 and concluded on 29 November, 2013. This year, Uganda Prisons Services organized the sports gala.
Uganda Peoples’ Defense Forces (UPDF) had dominated these games for over ten (10) years but last year Police broke this jinx.
The competition attracted participants from Uganda Peoples’ Defense Forces (UPDF), Uganda Police Force (UPF), Uganda Prisons Service (UPS) and Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA).
They participated in seven disciplines; Shooting/range, Darts, Handball, Netball, Volleyball, Football and athletics both men and women.
The Inspector General of Police, Gen. Kale kayihura has come out to support sports thus facilitating all the sports teams with the necessary equipments and personnel and room for promotion to those who excel, hence, the success in the recently concluded inter forces games.
Director Special Duties, AIGP Andrew Sorowen had this to say about the win:” I would like to commend our gallant sportsmen/women who put up a spirited war in ensuring that Police retained the title. Let us remain focused for the 12th edition of 2014. Bravo the Police sportsmen/women, bravo Uganda Police.”
