A visiting security delegation led by The Commander in Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Police, Brig. General. DV. Esmael Ahamdi Moghadam together with7 other senior police officers today arrived in Uganda for a visit to discuss various policing areas, with his counterpart the Inspector General of Police General Kale Kayihura.
During the 5 day visit, the high ranking security delegation will exchange information and technical capabilities in fighting human trafficking, Counter Terrorism, Narcotics and Cybercrime, Forensics, training, ICT, Canine, Traffic, Field Force, Logistics and Engineering and Police Health services.
There are already achievements with the construction of the polyclinic at Naguru. The visit therefore, will widen and further broaden the level of mutual cooperation between the two police institutions and the countries at large.
At the end of the visit, the two police institutions will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to increase the security cooperation between Uganda and Iran.
