Our security team successfully secure the initial matches hosted at Mandela National Stadium. Following these events, a review meeting was held in collaboration with the Local Organizing Committee and Confederation of African Football (CAF) representatives to further strengthen security arrangements.
On Friday, 8 August 2025, Mandela National Stadium will host two fixtures: Algeria Vs South Africa at 17:00hrs, followed by Guinea Vs Uganda at 20:00hrs.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all spectators for their cooperation and adherence to security protocols. The general public observed discipline, with only a few individuals attempting violations, who were promptly and firmly dealt with.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, the following items are strictly prohibited within the stadium premises:
Airhorns (vuvuzelas)
Whistles
Glass bottles and cans
Large bags and suitcases
Video cameras
Tools such as hammers
Flasks
Smoke canisters
Fireworks
Umbrellas
We urge all attendees to comply with these regulations for their safety and the safety of others.
