Three Killed in Fatal Crash at Impala Interchange on Entebbe Expressway

Three people have been confirmed dead today, 16th Ma. @M_Kananura “Three people have been confirmed dead today, 16th March 2026, following a single fatal crash at Impala Interchange along the Entebbe Expressway at approximately 06:30 a.m.

The crash involved motor vehicle registration number UBG 734S, a Toyota Land Cruiser. The driver of the said vehicle identified as Ssenyonjo Bosco business man resident of Masaka, was travelling with his family towards the Entebbe side when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle due to speeding on the expressway.

The vehicle first knocked the basement of a street light pole and later hit a road pillar before overturning several times.
As a result of the crash, three occupants, including the driver died instantly while two others sustained severe injuries.

A team of Traffic Police responded swiftly to the scene rescued the injured victims and rushed them to Grade B Hospital where they received first aid before being referred to another medical facility for further management. The deceased were conveyed to City Mortuary for postmortem examinations as investigations into the crash commence.
