Ugandan arrested to face charges of rape in USA
Tumusiime Dan William a born of Kanungu has been arrested by police to await his flown to USA to answer charges of rape. This was after ICPO INTERPOL General Secretariat issued a red note that Tumusiime was wanted by USA police
Tumusiime got asylum in USA where he got a job with an organization looking after elderly people in Washtenaw County, Michigan. In the course of his work, on March 5th 2012 at a residential center for elderly individuals, Tumusiime sexually assaulted a female resident.
He was deported back to Uganda immediately, as the police carried out further investigations. After DNA samples evidence taken from the victim allowed authorities to identify Tumusiime thus issue his arrest through INTERPOL.
Yesterday he was arrested from Seeta Mukono pending being flown to USA to answer charges of rape
