I, with joy, equally take this opportunity to present to you 1272 probationer police constables, 1390 special police constables and 55 immigration control officers who happen to be thegraduands of the day.These officers have been undergoing training here in the school for the last 12 months, 4 months and 2 months respectively.
The officers passing out today have been equipped with vast knowledge that will enable them to carry out their duties in line with their respective mandates.
I want in a special way to thank H.E. the president of the Republic of Uganda Gen.Y.K Museveni Commander in chief of the armed forces for giving these young energetic men and Women a chance to serve their mother land Uganda.
I want to thank the strategic leadership of the Uganda Police Force led by the IGP for entrusting the school with this task of producing this crop of officers.
I also thank all the trainers who gave in their best to deliver this assignment successfully.
I thank all partners and friends who supported the school in ensuring that they contribute to the mentorship and general training of these officers.
To the graduants, it is my honor and privilege to see all of you pass out today. You have all worked hard and persevered through rigorous training to become what you are today, and I am proud to say that you have all passed with flying colours. Conglatulations on your
Achievement.
As you prepare to enter the field, I want to remind you of the importance of your role a public officer. You are guardians of the law, the protectors of the community, and the upholders of justice . You have been entrusted with a great responsibility, and I have no doubt that you will carryout your duties with honor, intergrity, and professionalism.
The road ahead will not be easy, You will face many challenges and obstacles in the field, and you will be called upon to make difficult descisions that will impact the lives of others. But I have faith in your abilities and your training, and I know that you have what it takes to rise to the occasion.
I want to once again congratulate you on your achievement and wish you all the best as you embark on your careers as public officers. Always remember the importance of your role, the qualities of a good public officer, and the importance of community relations.
I have no doubt that you will make us proud and serve your community with distinction.
