Following a tip-off and an incident report of a stolen motorcycle registered at Nansana Police under reference Nansana 06/28/05/2026, officers from Lwampanga Town Council Police Station, working jointly with the Zengebe Marine Detach, mounted an effective operation and deployment at the Zengebe Ferry crossing.
At about 1700hrs, the suspect, whose image had earlier been captured by CCTV cameras, appeared at the ferry while riding the suspected stolen motorcycle. He was immediately intercepted and arrested by the security team.
Preliminary findings indicate that the suspect was transporting the motorcycle to Kalaki District. He is currently detained at Lwampanga Town Council Police Station as investigations continue.
