On behalf of the Uganda Police Force, I would like to express our profound sorrow about the demise of the late His Grace Dr.Cyprian Kizito Lwanga,former Archbishop, Kampala Archdiocese.
Please accept our condolences to His Eminence Pope Nuncio, His Eminence the Cardinal, members of the Uganda Episcopal Conference, the Uganda Joint Christian Council, members of the Archdiocese of Kampala, Christians, immediate family members and well-wishers mourning the death of the former Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese.
During his reign as the Archbishop of Kampala Diocese, he closely worked with the Uganda Police Force, in his profound desire to meet the needs of vulnerable people and the Church. He strongly defended the rights of Christians and worked tirelessly for peace and justice.
As Uganda Police Force, we have lost a true friend and a great leader. The entire Force is mourning with you, but also grateful that the Archbishop lived his life well in the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
