The IGP has congratulated, ASP Joshua Cheptegei on his Landmark Victory in the 10.000m finals, at the 19th World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary that took place on the 20.08.2023.
The Senior Police Officer, clocked a time of 27.51.42 seconds and became the Fourth Athlete in History, the First Ugandan, and First Ugandan Police Officer, to win three consecutive World Titles, in the 10.000 metre race.
The IGP, has once again congratulated him on this unique and historic accomplishment. As the UPF, we are incredibly proud of him, for earning himself, the Police and County a World record.
