Police last evening arrested two thugs and neutralized one after exchanging fire.
The thugs had robbed a woman identified as Nakusoke Najjemba 60 years at Kitende, Kajjansi Division, Police 999 patrol cars were alerted that thugs travelling in motor vehicle Reg. No. UAW 694L had robbed a woman, the hunt for the vehicle was mounted and it was sighted by Police 999 patrol car.
A chase ensued and it was intercepted around Kabalagala .
In the process of exchanging fire with the thugs one was hit and died.
Two were arrested and have been identified as Kalule Frank and Mbayitayizibwe John. The deceased was only identified as Mohammed.
The thugs are currently detained at Kabalagala Police Station as investigations continues.
