Uganda Police Force Chief Political Commissioner (CPC) has asked Police Officers in Busoga sub region to be quick in responding to incidents in order to avoid complaints.
“The faster we react to incidents the less complaints we shall get as Police.” CPC, AIGP Asan Kasingye made the remarks yesterday during a joint Regional security meeting for Busoga East held at Iganga town hall.
The meeting was attended by the Resident District Commissioners, LCV Chairpersons, Head of Security agencies within the region and local leaders.
Mr. Kasingye said that his on spot assessment of the region was that the Officers at the Regional headquarters lack seriousness and they are laid back.
Mr. Kasingye was assigned by the Inspector General of Police to go to the Region after the recent murder of the in charge Kigandaalo health centre IV in Mayuge district, Dr. Ibrahim Gwaluka.
Before addressing the security meeting, Mr. Kasingye first met the Regional team and discussed with them strategy to improve security in the region.
