RECRUITMENT OF ELECTION SPECIAL POLICE CONSTABLES

The Uganda Police Force is recruiting one hundred thousand (100,000) Election Special Police Constables on a three-month contractual basis.

Successful candidates will be deployed to serve in their respective home districts.

They will be required to undergo one month of training prior to deployment.

Requirements:

Must be a citizen of Uganda with a valid National Identification Card.

Applicants must be aged 18 years or above.

A minimum academic qualification of Primary Leaving Examination (PLE), verified by a PLE results slip.

Applicants must have no criminal record.

Proven voluntary service experience is considered an added advantage.

Candidates must be physically fit and prepared to work for extended hours.

Good communication skills are essential.

Application Process:

Interested candidates should submit a handwritten application addressed to the Inspector General of Police.

The application must be accompanied by photocopies of academic documents, National ID, and a recent passport-sized photograph.

Additionally, applicants must provide recommendation letters from their respective Local Council 1 (LC 1), Local Council III (LC III), and the area GISO.

All application documents must be submitted to the respective District or Divisional Police headquarters.

Deadline:

The deadline for application submission is 1st November 2025.

Notice:

The Uganda Police Force will publish a list of shortlisted candidates following the application review. The Force warns against impersonation and submission of forged documents, emphasizing that such actions will attract legal repercussions.

The Uganda Police Force encourages eligible and interested applicants to apply promptly and adhere strictly to the stated requirements and deadlines.

Beware of conmen. On 25/10/2025 at around 1700hrs in Kasambya Cell, Kyotera Town Council in Kyotera District, Police received information that there was a man at the impersonating to be the DPC Kyotera receiving applications from people who want to join Police as election SPCs and he was charging 50,000/- per application received.

Police responded and arrested the suspect (Amwine Mike) and recovered vital exhibits.
