The Inspector General of Police has today 6/5/2014 suspended with immediate effect the Regional Police Commander Savannah ACP Mivule Richard and the District Police Commander Luweero ASP Ninsiima Godfrey to pave way for investigations into an incident of public disorder during the nominations of the Democratic Party candidate for the Luweero Woman Member of Parliament that occurred yesterday 5/5/2014.
The Director of Operations AIGP Grace Turyagumanawe has been directed to oversee the policing of the Luweero by-elections.
