The Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization games ‘EAPCCO’ that were hosted at Uganda Christian University – Mukono came to an end yesterday Tuesday Aug 29th and Uganda emerged the overall winner.
This was the first time hosting these games and was part of the 19th annual general meeting for EAPCCO member states slated for September 17 in Kampala.
Uganda evidenced aces in the several disciplines including Football, Athletics, Taekwondo and many more where they won Gold medals and the Inspector general of police Kale Kayihura attributed the win to good organization and unveiled talent in the police forces citing that they don’t only recruit potential but also talent.
The theme of the games was, ‘promoting community policing and regional cooperation through sports’.
