We would like to inform the public that the task team actively investigating the alleged theft and diversion of iron sheets meant for the Karamoja reformed warriors, has almost finalised its scope of investigations. Several casefiles were submitted with our findings to the office of the DPP. Our task teams have plans to interview a few remaining witnesses and also fast track a few leads which are significant in the remaining inquiries. As witnessed, last week some of the casefiles are 100% complete, like the one of the Hon. Agnes Nandutu and ready for full trial.
We are now waiting for the DPP to evaluate the casefiles and come up with appropriate conclusions, that will guide our next course of action.
