Latest Posts Press Release

On 29/04/2026 at about 1500 hours, police at Kabalagala conducted intelligence-led, disruptive operations in Nsambya Central Zone, particularly targeting furniture workshops in Nsambya.

This followed public outcry over incidents of phone snatching, muggings, pickpocketing, and other criminal activities in the area.

It has been established that many of the suspects disguise themselves as brokers and workers around the furniture workshops. During peak traffic hours, they allegedly engage in snatching valuables and stealing motor vehicle parts such as side mirrors, among others.

Following thorough screening, 56 suspects, who have long been on our watch and wanted list, were identified. They will be further processed and arraigned before court.
