THREE IN CUSTODY FOR VANDALISM AND THEFT AT GOVERNMENT QUARANTINE CENTER IN NAKAPIRIPIRIT DISTRICT

In the Mt. Moroto Police region on Kagata Production Village, Nakapiripirit District an incident of vandalism at the Government Holding and Quarantine Production Center was reported where it was alleged that on January 29, 2025, three individuals; Angela Francis, Lomokol Jeremiah, and Losike Paul damaged property and stole items including barbed wire, dip chain links, dipsticks and jerrycans.

With assistance from the Internal Security Organization (ISO), intelligence was relayed to local leaders and the Officer in Charge of Namalu Police Station, who then visited the scene to verify the reports of theft and damage. Before reaching the site, they encountered a motorcycle carrying the suspects and pursued them. The suspects were later apprehended at a scrap buyer’s residence with stolen barbed wire and other metals.

Numerous items from the project were vandalized, including water pipes, tanks, and shattered windows.

Currently, the following suspects are in custody:

a. Angela Francis: Male adult, 22 years old, a boda-boda rider.

b. Lomokol Jeremiah: Male adult, 18 years old.

c. Losike Paul: Male juvenile, 15 years old.
