The Uganda Police Force through the department of Peace Support Operations, is hosting a three-day Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) Police Generation and Capacity Building Training at Protea Hotel Skyz in Naguru, Kampala, with participants drawn from 10 countries.
Opening the training, Deputy Director Operations CP Okoshi Simon Peter said the programme provides a platform for strengthening regional cooperation, building comradeship and sharing experiences among participating officers.
Brig. Gen. Dr. Faisal Abdelhady Mahmood, Training and Evaluation Officer, is among the facilitators leading sessions aimed at strengthening police preparedness and capacity for peace support operations.
