AIGP Bamunoba Urges Katonga Officers to Uphold Professionalism and Public Trust

On 27th August 2025, the Director CPC, AIGP Bamunoba Ubaldo, engaged officers from Katonga Region as part of his sensitization and ideological orientation tour.

He emphasized that the strength of the Force lies in professionalism, respect for the rule of law, and the protection of human rights. He noted that communities must feel safe, urging officers to move away from armchair policing and be intentional in their work.

The Director encouraged officers to embrace patriotism, maintain a positive attitude toward duty, and give special attention to vulnerable groups, especially women, children, and all Ugandans, when upholding human rights.

He also highlighted the importance of customer care at police stations, timely response to distress calls, and coordination with other security agencies and stakeholders. He stressed accountability to the public and support for government programs as the country moves toward Vision 2040.

On the election season, he called on officers to ensure that the process is conducted freely and fairly for all Ugandans, in line with the electoral roadmap.
