The Director Welfare, Production and Sports, AIGP Hadijah Namutebi, has applauded the Field Force Unit Police team for their outstanding victory in the 2025 IGP’s Cup.
Speaking during a celebration at Silver Springs Hotel, Bugolobi, she commended police leadership for supporting the tournament and highlighted its role in promoting fitness, unity, and community policing.
FFU emerged champions after a 4–1 win over Police Training School Kabalye FC in the finals held at the Police Sports Arena, Kamwokya, on 26th September 2025.
She urged officers to maintain physical fitness for effective duty performance. The team received a trophy, certificates, and UGX 5 million in recognition of their achievement.
