Kabalagala:
On 03rd September 2026 at about 0200hrs, Police at Kabalagala conducted an intelligence-led operation in Kamwanyi Zone, Kabalagala Parish, Makindye Division, Kampala District, which resulted in the arrest of two male suspects.
Upon conducting a search, the suspects were found in possession of a hammer, a bent knife, and suspected opium.
The suspects were charged with being found wandering at night with dangerous weapons and being in possession of narcotic substances.
Katwe:
Similarly, on 03rd September 2026 at about 0100hrs, Police at Katwe conducted an operation in the areas of Masajja and Nyanama, Makindye-Ssabagabo Municipality, Wakiso District, which led to the arrest of 25 suspects.
The operations are ongoing as Police continue efforts to identify, disrupt, and dismantle criminal gangs operating within the areas, with the aim of enhancing the safety and security of residents.
