Police FC Hosts FUFA Media Day Ahead of New Season

Sports

Police Football Club has hosted the inaugural FUFA Media Day, a capacity-building initiative aimed at equipping players, the technical team and staff with essential knowledge ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The engagement provided an opportunity for the club to strengthen its understanding of key areas that support effective operations both on and off the pitch. The sessions covered competition requirements, media and photography standards, safeguarding, match and competition integrity, commercialisation strategies, and the Laws of the Game.

The initiative was facilitated by FUFA Professional Competitions Manager Paul Kabaikaramu, FUFA Referees Development Manager Mashood Ssali, Birungi Sarah from the FUFA Competitions Department, and Mr Aterar Jabez, who shared their expertise and practical insights with the club.

The engagement is expected to enhance the club’s preparedness, professionalism and compliance as it enters the new season, while strengthening the capacity of players, coaches and staff to effectively navigate the demands of modern football.

Police Football Club appreciates FUFA for bringing the initiative to the club and looks forward to putting the knowledge gained into practice as preparations for the new season continue.
