On 21 August 2026 at approximately 2045 hours, an intelligence-led operation was conducted in Nyanama, Makindye-Ssabagabo Municipality, Wakiso District, following information received froma Boda Boda dealer company that one of their motorcycles had been stolen.
The company staff tracked the motorcycle using its tracking device, which led them to a house in Nyanama. At approximately 2050 hours our team immediately moved Nyanama to locate and recover the motorcycle.
A cordon and search operation was subsequently conducted at the identified house/room.
During the search, the following items were recovered:
One (01) numberless red Baj Boxer motorcycle.
Twelve (12) motorcycle number plates.
Assorted motorcycle parts.
Toolboxes and other suspected motorcycle-related equipment.
However, no suspect was arrested during the operation.
Efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend the suspect(s) connected to the recovered motorcycle and other items.
